Communications Minister Fahmi Fadzil extended his condolences to the family of veteran singer Datuk M Daud Kilau, who passed away at the Teluk Intan Hospital at 4.40 pm today.

‘May his family remain strong in facing this difficult time. Al-Fatihah,’ he said in a post on Facebook.
The news of the passing of the 85-year-old singer was announced by his grandson on his Instagram account.
The singer, better known as ‘Raja Gelek’ suffered from multiple health issues, including diabetes and heart conditions.
His remains will be buried at the Sungai Balah Baroh Muslim Cemetery in Bagan Datuk after the Zohor prayers tomorrow.
