Phnom Penh: H.E. Huot Hak, Minister of Tourism, received Lok Chumteav Neak Oknha Mao Chamnan, President of the Khmer Artists Association (KAA), and her delegation over the weekend to discuss collaboration in promoting Cambodia’s tourism potential. The meeting focused on seeking cooperation and support for cultural tourism initiatives.
According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, H.E. Huot Hak expressed gratitude, admiration, and appreciation for Lok Chumteav Neak Oknha and the artists who have contributed to promoting Cambodia’s cultural and tourism destinations worldwide. He also briefed the delegation on the six key cooperation mechanisms of the Ministry of Tourism and the progress of the ‘Visit Cambodia in Green Season’ campaign, which aims to replace the term ‘Low Season.’
As a result of the meeting, the Ministry of Tourism and KAA agreed to strengthen cooperation in promoting tourism potential. This will be achieved through the creation of tourism-related content and the joint organisation of additional touri
sm events.
