SEREMBAN, A row of nine food stalls in front of Teluk Kemang Square, Port Dickson near here was destroyed in a fire tonight.
Teluk Kemang Fire and Rescue Station operations chief, Senior Fire Supt Mohd Kamal Mohd Timar said that a team of firefighters from the station arrived at the location of the fire after being informed at 7.16 pm.
“All nine wooden stall, measuring 10 by 10 sq feet, were burnt, four of them totally destroyed, while the other five sustained 25 per cent damage.
“No casualties were reported from the fire and its cause, along with the losses sustained, is still being investigated,” he said in a statement tonight.
He added that firefighters were still conducting overhaul work at the site.
