AGONG, PERMAISURI PRAISE VOLUNTEER INITIATIVE BY BSMM

KUALA LUMPUR, The Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah and the Raja Permaisuri Agong Tunku Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah praised the volunteer initiative carried out by all levels of the Malaysian Red Crescent (BSMM) members.

Through a post on Istana Negara’s Instagram, Their Majesties described the effort as being able to strengthen the spirit of helping others and humanity among the people, especially the young generation.

Their Majesties also congratulated BSMM for its excellent service, contribution and humanitarian aid to the community, state and federal governments, as well as abroad.

“The Yang di-Pertuan Agong and the Raja Permaisuri Agong congratulate BSMM, which is led by the Tunku Temenggong of Kedah Tan Sri Tunku Puteri Intan Safinaz Almarhum Sultan Abdul Halim Mu’adzam Shah, on its 75th anniversary celebration.

“Their Majesties also thanked Tunku Puteri Intan Safinaz for inviting them to grace the Charity Dinner in conjunction with the 75th anniversary of BSMM at The St. Regis Kuala Lumpur on Nov 4,” read the post.

Al-Sultan Abdullah and Tunku Azizah prayed that BSMM would continue to thrive in supporting efforts to provide humanitarian services and aid and that its members would always be under the protection and grace of Allah SWT.
