APSARA Authority Announces Soft Launch of Mobile App to Help Tourists Explore Angkor Temples

Siem Reap: The APSARA National Authority (ANA) has announced the soft launch of a new mobile application, Visit Angkor, designed to help tourists learn more about the famous Angkor temples.

According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, the app aims to promote tourism in Siem Reap province and enhance the visitor experience at the Angkor Archaeological Park. The Visit Angkor app provides users with a range of useful information, including the history of the temples, recommended visiting circuits, highlights of each temple, maps, and details about essential facilities such as restrooms, parking areas, and information centres.

Additionally, the app offers updates on annual events, local museums, tourism communities, and major attractions throughout the province. One of the key features of the app is a section outlining important guidelines for appropriate behaviour when visiting the Angkor Archaeological Park.

The ANA stated that the Visit Angkor app is now available for download on both the App Store and Google Play. The app also features regular notifications about ANA's activities, tools for contacting authorities to address visitor concerns, and a platform for submitting feedback or confidential suggestions to improve the overall Angkor experience.
