SEOUL, BGF Retail Co. on Wednesday reported its fourth-quarter net income of 38.6 billion won (US$29.1 million), down 5.4 percent from a year earlier. The company said in a regulatory filing that it posted 51.1 billion won in operating profit for the quarter, compared with 52.3 billion won a year ago. Revenue rose 4.7 percent to 2.04 trillion won. The earnings exceeded market expectations.
