bp keen to assist Azerbaijan’s transition to green energy – regional president

BAKU: bp is prepared to support Azerbaijan's energy transformation and guarantee the energy security of the entire region and Europe, building on more than 30 years of experience developing oil and gas in the nation, Gary Jones, bp regional president for Azerbaijan, Georgia and Trkiye said at the opening of the summer energy school at ADA University in Baku, Trend reports. He drove home the point that bp is the linchpin in grooming technical engineering specialists at ADA, vital for nurturing economies in the face of fresh economic and climatic hurdles. The regional president of bp reaffirmed the support of the company for Azerbaijan's efforts to increase the use of renewable energy, particularly the measures to build a solar power plant in Jabrayil.
