Phnom penh: Cambodia and Thailand will hold a special meeting of the Joint Land Boundary Committee (JBC) next week in Thailand.
According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, on Oct. 13, the Cambodia-Thailand JBC agreed in principle to set the dates for the Special JBC Meeting on Oct. 21-22, 2025, to be hosted by Thailand. The forthcoming Special JBC Meeting aims to continue discussions and accelerate the border demarcation and marker planting work between the two neighbouring countries.
Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to this process during the 6th Cambodia-Thailand JBC Meeting held on June 14-15, 2025, in Phnom Penh, with Cambodia as the host.
