Cambodian ITF Taekwondo athlete, Mr. Sambath Sovanren, won a bronze medal on the first day of the 10th ITF Asian Taekwondo Championships in India. According to an official of the Cambodia ITF Taekwondo Federation, Sambath Sovanren defeated his Indian counterpart 5-0 in the first match, then his Malaysian opponent 4-1 in the second match, but lost to the North Korean athlete 1-3 in the semi-final. This is the first discipline for Cambodia at the 10th ITF Asian Taekwondo Championships being held from Aug. 21 to 25 in Bengaluru, India. The Cambodian delegation for this regional competition is composed of 27 members, of them 17 are athletes (6 women), and led by H.E.
