Cambodia and Lao PDR have highly valued their fruitful bilateral relations and cooperation so far, and reaffirmed their commitment to further promote the relationship to a new height for development in all areas for the benefits of both countries' people. The satisfaction was made while H.E. Kittisethabindit CHEAM Yeap, First Vice President of Cambodia's National Assembly (NA), and Chairman of Cambodian AIPA National Group, was paying a courtesy call on President of Lao NA H.E. Xaysomphone Phomvihane in Vientiane, Lao PDR, on Oct. 9, according to the Cambodian NA General Secretariat. On the occasion, H.E. Xaysomphone Phomvihane praised Cambodia's key role in strengthening relations and cooperation with other countries in the region and the world. The Lao NA president also pledged to continue promoting some main sectors such as trade, investment, tourism, transport, and education for progress and prosperity of both nations.
