Cambodia to Host 2025 Badminton Asia Southeast Asia Regional Championships


Phnom Penh: Cambodia will host the 2nd Badminton Asia Southeast Asia Regional Championships 2025 from July 7 to 12. The update was shared by Mr. Chhit Samean, a senior coach of the Cambodian National Badminton Athletes, who mentioned that the tournament will take place at the Morodok Techo National Stadium in Phnom Penh.



According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, the event expects the participation of athletes from host Cambodia, Timor-Leste, Brunei Darussalam, Myanmar, and Laos. The championship will feature both couple and single categories for three age groups, including U15, U17, and U23.



Mr. Chhit Samean expressed optimism that Cambodian athletes will secure more medals this year. Cambodia previously won 14 medals at the 1st Badminton Asia Southeast Asia Regional Championships in 2024.
