Cambodia's VKH Rally Racing team has left the country for the Asia Cross Country Rally 2024, to be held in Thailand from Aug. 11 to 17. A Cambodian racer, Mr. Vong Kimhuot, was optimistic that the Cambodian team would do well in the contest thanks to their experience in the race since 2013. The Cambodian team, with a race car and four service cars, departed the country through the Cham Yeam checkpoint in Cambodia's Koh Kong province, heading to Trat province in Thailand. There will be 45 race cars and nine petrol cars from ten countries attending the race of 2,400 km, starting from Surat Thani province and finishing in Kanchanaburi province. Last year, the Cambodian VKH Racing team was ranked 11th among the 41 participating race cars. Source : Agence Kampuchea Presse
