Cambodia and Turkey are committed to further strengthening and expanding their bilateral cooperation, especially in combating transnational crimes. The commitment was emphasised by the Commissioner General of the National Police, General Sar Thet, and H.E. Ms. Ülk Kocaefe, the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Cambodia, in their meeting in Phnom Penh on Wednesday. They agreed that part of the effort is to provide capacity building for Cambodian officials in charge of the work on skills related to counter-terrorism and the fight against online fraud. The two sides reaffirmed mutual understanding of the principles of equality and respect for each other's sovereignty. Source: Agence Kampuchea Presse
