The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Kingdom of Cambodia and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan have signed a Memorandum of Understanding on the Establishment of Bilateral Consultations. The signing ceremony took place on Sept. 28 on the sidelines of the 79th Session of the United Nations General Assembly, said the Cambodian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation. H.E. Sok Chenda Sophea, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Cambodia and H.E. Rashid Meredov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, inked the MoU following their bilateral meeting at the United Nations Headquarters, New York, the source pointed out. On the occasion, it added, both sides discussed efforts to further promote friendship and cooperation, particularly in exchanges of visits of leaders, businessmen, trade, investment and tourism of the two countries.
