Cambodia-UN Partnership in World Peace Appreciated

Cambodian Senate President Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen received here at the Senate Palace this morning visiting Under-Secretary-General of the United Nations for Operational Support, H.E. Atul Khare. In the meeting, Samdech Techo Hun Sen expressed warm welcome to H.E. Atul Khare, and thanked him for visiting Siem Reap and Preah Vihear provinces to witness Cambodia's development and mine clearance achievements. The senate president spoke highly of the good partnership between Cambodia and the UN in maintaining the world peace, and briefed him on the Win-Win policy, which brought complete peace to Cambodia since late 1998. Samdech Techo Hun Sen thanked the UN for extending condolences to the families of 11 Cambodian peacekeeping forces who have lost their lives for the cause of peace under the UN umbrella. On the occasion, H.E. Atul Khare coungratulated Cambodia on her current development, and praised the Kingdom's contribution to the world peace as well as her upcoming hosting of the UN-ROK -Cambodia Triangular Partnership at the end of 2024 and the UN-Japan-Cambodia Triangular Partnership in 2025.
