Cambodian and Kyrgyz Leaders Celebrate 30 Years of Diplomatic Relations

Phnom Penh: Leaders of the Kingdom of Cambodia and the Kyrgyz Republic have exchanged congratulatory messages and best wishes on the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet expressed his appreciation for the strong, mutually beneficial relations that have been fostered since the establishment of diplomatic ties in 1995. He highlighted the importance of reinforcing the partnership between Cambodia and Kyrgyzstan in light of increasing regional and global challenges. The Cambodian Premier reiterated his commitment to work closely with Kyrgyz President H.E. Sadyr Zhaparov to strengthen and expand bilateral and multilateral cooperation, with a focus on promoting peace, security, stability, and development.

H.E. Sadyr Zhaparov mirrored these sentiments, emphasizing the strong friendship between the nations, which is built on mutual support and respect. He underscored the necessity of further deepening these relations and expressed confidence that strengthening high-level political ties and increasing mutual visits would consolidate the relationship between the two countries.

Additionally, Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation H.E. Prak Sokhonn, along with his Kyrgyz counterpart H.E. Zheenbek Kulubaev, extended their congratulations on this significant occasion. They reaffirmed their shared commitment to enhancing the partnership to achieve tangible outcomes that benefit both peoples and contribute to regional and global peace and prosperity.
