Cambodian Defence Minister Attends the 12th Beijing Xiangshan Forum

Beijing: Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister, H.E. Gen. Tea Seiha, Minister of the National Defence, is among the 1,800 delegates from 100 countries in Europe, Africa, Asia, and ASEAN attending the 12th Beijing Xiangshan Forum, held in Beijing from Sept. 17-19. The event, themed "Upholding International Order and Promoting Peaceful Development," was officially opened at the Beijing International Convention Centre.

According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, Secretary-General of ASEAN H.E. Dr. Kao Kim Hourn delivered remarks on 'Building a Just and Equitable Global Security Governance System.' He highlighted ASEAN's support for a security governance system based on dialogue, cooperation, open engagement, and respect for international law.

As the host, Chinese Defence Minister H.E. Gen. Dong Jun committed to safeguarding world peace. He stated that the Chinese military is willing to collaborate with all parties to enhance security through concrete actions, increase military trust, improve multilateral coordination, and promote efficient cooperation, contributing to global peace and a shared future for humanity.
