Tokyo: Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, and the First Lady, Lok Chumteav Dr. Pich Chanmony, departed Malaysia for Japan for a four-day official working visit. This visit follows their participation in the 46th ASEAN Summit and Related Summits.
According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, the visit, scheduled from May 28 to 31, occurs at the invitation of the Government of Japan. The Cambodian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation emphasized that Prime Minister Hun Manet's visit aims to further advance the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between Cambodia and Japan.
During his stay in Japan, Prime Minister Hun Manet is set to hold a bilateral meeting with H.E. Ishiba Shigeru, the Prime Minister of Japan. He is also expected to engage in separate meetings with leaders of Japan's Diet and deliver a keynote speech at the Nikkei Forum 30th "Future of Asia".
Additionally, the Prime Minister will participate in the Cambodia-Japan Business Forum. He and the First Lady will also meet with the Cambodian community residing in Japan.
