Seoul: A Cambodian delegation led by Minister of Tourism H.E. Huot Hak will participate in the 40th Seoul International Travel Fair, the 4th World Tourism Industry Conference and related meetings from June 3 to 9 in Seoul, Republic of Korea. The events will focus on the theme "Tourism Transformation and Sustainability," with participation from tourism ministers from various countries in the region, as well as several key partner organizations.
According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, during the 4th World Tourism Industry Conference, H.E. Huot Hak will deliver a keynote speech to share Cambodia's experiences and best practices in sustainable tourism development. He will also provide recommendations on advancing sustainable tourism transformation both regionally and globally. The conference aims to present strategic directions and recommendations for transforming the regional and global tourism industry toward sustainability and resilience.
On this occasion, H.E. Minister Huot Hak will hold bilateral meetings with provincial leaders, private sectors from the Republic of Korea, and heads of tourism institutions from various countries to strengthen cooperation and promote tourist arrivals to Cambodia. The Ministry of Tourism will also lead private sector representatives and tour operators in participating in the 40th Seoul International Travel Fair (SITF 2025). This event will feature representatives from over 40 countries, with 500 exhibition booths, 750 seller companies, and 800 buyer companies in attendance.
