Cambodia’s ASEAN SOM Leader Attends 30th ASEAN-China Senior Officials’ Consultation

H.E. KUNG Phoak, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MFAIC) and ASEAN SOM Leader of Cambodia, attended the 30th ASEAN-China Senior Officials' Consultation (30th ACSOC) at the ASEAN Secretariat, Jakarta, Indonesia on May 10. According to the MFAIC, the Meeting reviewed ASEAN-China's existing cooperation over the past years across the three ASEAN Community Pillars: Political-Security, Economic, and Socio-Cultural. While this year marks the ASEAN-China Year of People-to-People Exchanges, it added, SOM leaders of ASEAN and China discussed several activities to celebrate the occasion as well as future direction to advance the ASEAN-China Comprehensive Strategic Partnership (CSP) to more substantive.
