Celltrion Inc. on Thursday reported its first-quarter net profit of 20.8 billion won (US$15.2 million), down 87.6 percent from a year earlier. The company said in a regulatory filing that operating income for the January-March period fell 91.5 percent on-year to 15.4 billion won. Revenue increased 23.3 percent to 737 billion won. The operating profit was 146.6 percent higher than the average estimate, according to a survey by Yonhap Infomax, the financial data firm of Yonhap News Agency.
