CJ Logistics Corp. on Friday reported its first-quarter net profit of 55.4 billion won (US$40.5 million), up 14.5 percent from a year earlier. The company said in a regulatory filing that it posted 109.4 billion won in operating profit for the quarter, compared with 99 billion won a year ago. Revenue rose 4 percent to 2.92 trillion won. The earnings failed to meet market expectations.
