The construction project of National Road (NR) 71C, which connects NR7 in Thbong Khmum province to NR71 in Kampong Cham province, has been completed. H.E. Bong Bun Hourn, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Public Works and Transport and Head of the construction project, on July 31 led a technical working group to conduct a detailed technical inspection and attend the handover ceremony of the National Road 71C construction project. The management and technical teams of Shanghai Construction Group (SCG) and WACC technical advisory company, and representatives of the Kampong Cham and Thbong Khmum Provincial Departments of Public Works also took part in the inspection. The construction of this important AC/DBST national road started on April 2, 2021 and ended on Oct. 2, 2024, with a maintenance period (in contract) of 24 months. NR71C has a total length of 114.62 kilometres, from PK154 + 700 in Thbong Khmum province to PK30 + 400 in Kampong Cham province. Source: Agence Kampuchea Presse
