The Lancang-Mekong River, originating from the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau in Yushu Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province, China, stretches nearly about 5000 kilometers, linking China, Myanmar, Laos, Thailand, Cambodia, and Vietnam closely together.

Jointly organized by the China New Service Qinghai Branch and other organizations, the 2025 Lancang-Mekong International Video and Image Week aims to bring LMC media to the province, the original place of the Mekong River, to share stories, exchange culture, learn about progress in economic development and ecological system protection, and enhance media cooperation, contributing to building a shared future for the Lancang-Mekong River basin.

Through activities such as tent tea gatherings, Generation Z dialogues at the river source, starry sky concerts, and exploratory excursions, participants experienced the close connection of Shared River, Shared Future.
