Doubleugames Q1 net income up 21.3 pct to 60.4 bln won

Doubleugames Co. on Thursday reported its first-quarter net income of 60.4 billion won (US$44.4 million), up 21.3 percent from a year earlier. Operating profit for the January-March period was 61.7 billion won, up 33.9 percent from a year ago, the company said in a regulatory filing. Sales rose 10.4 percent to 160.5 billion won. The earnings exceeded market expectations.
