Phnom Penh: H.E. Gen. Tea Seiha, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defence, has affirmed that the Cambodian army remains stationed within the country's sovereign territory in the fulfillment of their duty to protect national territorial integrity. The Deputy Prime Minister made the remarks on his official Facebook account tonight.
According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, the deployment of forces along the border is strictly defensive in nature, aimed solely at safeguarding Cambodia's sovereignty. H.E. Gen. Tea Seiha reiterated that Cambodia has no intention or ambition to invade any other nation.
