E-Mart turns to red in 2023

SEOUL, E-Mart Inc. on Wednesday reported its 2023 net loss of 187.5 billion won (US$140.2 million), shifting from a profit of 1 trillion won a year earlier. The company said in a regulatory filing that it posted an operating loss of 46.9 billion won for the year, compared with a profit of 135.7 billion won from the previous year. Annual revenue rose 0.5 percent to 29.47 trillion won. Source: Yonhap News Agency
