KUALA LUMPUR, The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures contract on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives ended higher today. Spot month July 2024 and December 2024 were 20.5 points firmer at 1,621.0 and 1,614.0 respectively, August 2024 rose 21.5 points to 1,623.5, and September 2024 increased 21 points to 1,607.0. Turnover decreased to 8.381 lots from 9,691 on Tuesday, while open interest rose to 50,513 contracts from 49,528 contracts previously. At 5 pm, the FBM KLCI surged 17.36 points, or 1.08 per cent, to 1,615.32 from Tuesday's close of 1,597.96. Source: BERNAMA News Agency
