A guided rocket was accidentally discharged from a patrol boat during a mock test and no damage has been incurred, the Navy said Tuesday. The 130 millimeter Biryong guided rocket was discharged and fell into the East Sea and there was no human or material damage, the Navy said. The discharge came as a maintenance officer made a mistake by carrying out a mock test in the actual operational mode rather than training mode, the Navy said in a release. The Navy said it will analyze the cause for the safety guidelines not being followed and work to devise measures to prevent a recurrence. Source: Yonhap News Agency
