Preah Vihear: A delegation from the Union of Youth Federations of Cambodia (UYFC), headed by its President, H.E. Hun Many, visited Cambodian armed forces stationed along the border today, providing both moral and material support.
According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, the visit took place at the Techo Development Centre in Sra'em commune, Choam Khsan district, Preah Vihear province. The delegation delivered financial aid, food, and essential supplies to soldiers from various units currently deployed along the frontier.
Senior UYFC leaders, representatives from higher education institutions, youth organisations, and private sector partners were all in attendance at the ceremony. Speaking on behalf of the delegation and the Cambodian citizens who contributed to the aid effort, H.E. Hun Many expressed gratitude and respect for the courage and heroism of all armed forces personnel-commanders, officers, and soldiers alike-who are safeguarding the nation's territory and citizens along the border.
He also conveyed messages of encouragement and well wishes from civilians across the country, emphasising national unity and solidarity with the frontline troops. "Though we now live in peace, we must never forget the hardships of war that we once endured," H.E. Hun Many stated. "It is our strong national defence that ensures this peace is never lost-regardless of the cost."
He further affirmed the Royal Government's commitment to resolving any issues with neighbouring countries through comprehensive mechanisms that prioritise national sovereignty and territorial integrity. This, he noted, would be achieved while maintaining a mature, diplomatic, and firm stance. He concluded by urging all forces to remain vigilant and disciplined, to uphold the peace, and to strictly adhere to the directives of the Royal Government in safeguarding the homeland.
