H.E. Wang Wenbin, Chinese Ambassador to the Kingdom of Cambodia, has commended the three Cambodian athletes for completing their 2024 Paris Olympic races.

On his official Facebook page on Aug. 8:n his official Facebook page on Aug. 8, H.E. Wang Wenbin wrote, 'I applaud Chhun Bunthorn, Sakbun Apsara Katarina and Antoine De Lapparent for completing their Paris Olympic races. They commendably represent Cambodia and impress the world with commitment and sportsmanship'. The three participating Cambodian athletes - runner Chhun Bunthorn, and swimmers Antoine De Lapparent and Sakbun Apsara Katarina - were competitively selected by the National Olympic Committee of Cambodia (NOCC) and Cambodia's Ministry of Education, Youth, and Sports, with the endorsement of the International Olympic Committee (IOC). The Paris 2024 Summer Olympics, taking place from July 26 to Aug. 11, is a good opportunity for the athletes to profile Cambodia's reputation and culture and build friendships with their peers from around the world.
