Hana Financial Group Q2 net profit up 11.7 pct to 1.04 tln won

Hana Financial Group Inc. on Friday reported its second-quarter net profit of 1.04 trillion won (US$754.7 million), up 11.7 percent from a year earlier. The company said in a regulatory filing that it posted 1.35 trillion won in operating profit for the quarter, compared with 1.33 trillion won a year ago. Revenue rose 29.8 percent to 19.71 trillion won. The earnings exceeded market expectations.
