Hanatour Service Q1 net profit up 156.5 pct to 24.2 bln won

SEOUL, Hanatour Service Inc. on Wednesday reported its first-quarter net income of 24.2 billion won (US$17.7 million), up 156.5 percent from a year earlier. Operating income for the January-March period was 21.6 billion won, up 285.4 percent from a year ago, the company said in a regulatory filing. Revenue rose 121 percent to 183.3 billion won.
