Hanmi Semiconductor Q2 operating profit up 396 pct to 55.4 bln won

Hanmi Semiconductor Co. on Friday estimated its second-quarter operating profit at 55.4 billion won (US$40 million), up 396 percent from a year earlier. Sales increased 151.6 percent to 123.5 billion won. The data for net profit was not available. The operating profit was 33.5 percent higher than the average estimate, according to a survey by Yonhap Infomax, the financial data firm of Yonhap News Agency.
