Hanwha Solutions Corp. on Thursday reported its first-quarter net loss of 448.4 billion won (US$325.6 million), shifting from a profit of 133.4 billion won a year earlier. The company said in a regulatory filing that it posted an operating loss of 216.6 billion won for the January-March period, compared with a profit of 271.4 billion won a year ago. Revenue fell 22.8 percent to 2.39 trillion won. The loss was 283.4 percent higher than the average estimate, according to a survey by Yonhap Infomax, the financial data firm of Yonhap News Agency.
