HD Hyundai Mipo Co. on Thursday reported its first-quarter net profit of 2.1 billion won (US$1.5 million), shifting from a loss of 4.4 billion won a year earlier. The company said in a regulatory filing that it continued to post an operating loss of 11 billion won for the January-March period, compared with a loss of 27.4 billion won a year earlier.
