HD Hyundai Co. on Thursday reported its first-quarter net income of 508.3 billion won (US$369.3 million), up 319 percent from a year earlier. The company said in a regulatory filing that operating profit for the January-March period rose 48.8 percent on-year to 793.6 billion won. Sales increased 8.1 percent to 16.51 trillion won.
