HD Korea Shipbuilding and Offshore Engineering Co. on Thursday reported its first-quarter net profit of 193.3 billion won (US$140.4 million), turning from a loss of 151.8 billion won a year earlier. Operating profit for the January-March period was 160.2 billion, compared with a loss of 19 billion won a year ago, the company said in a regulatory filing.
