His Majesty the King Extends Congratulations to Chinese President on PRC’s 76th Founding Anniversary

Phnom penh: His Majesty Preah Bat Samdech Preah Boromneath Norodom Sihamoni, King of Cambodia, has extended his warmest congratulations to H.E. XI JINPING, President of the People's Republic of China (PRC), on the occasion of the PRC's 76th Founding Anniversary.

According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, the monarch expressed his sincere greetings and congratulations to President Xi Jinping, the Communist Party, the State Council, the People's Liberation Army, and the people of China through a royal letter. His Majesty, along with Her Majesty Queen Mother Norodom Monineath Sihanouk and the Cambodian Royal Family, conveyed their heartfelt wishes.

His Majesty highlighted the grand military parade in Beijing on September 3, 2025, as a testament to China's achievements in modernization, national defense, and technological innovation. The King expressed his privilege in attending this significant event for the second time, observing the display of discipline and unity alongside world leaders at Tiananmen Square. He noted the parade as a reflection of China's commitment to peace, security, and prosperity.

The King emphasized Cambodia's pride in its strong friendship and strategic cooperation with China, rooted in mutual trust and shared aspirations for development. His Majesty expressed confidence in the continued strengthening of the "all-weather community with a shared future" under President Xi's leadership, fostering prosperity for both nations and contributing to regional and global harmony.

His Majesty also expressed appreciation for the warm meeting on August 26, 2025, at Zhongnanhai, and gratitude for the hospitality extended during their medical visit to China. The King underscored the cherished friendship with President Xi and First Lady Peng Liyuan.
