Hyosung Corp. on Friday reported its first-quarter net profit of 3.4 billion won (US$2.5 million), turning from a loss of 10.4 million won a year earlier. Operating income for the January-March period was 25.5 billion won, up 115.1 percent from a year ago, the company said in a regulatory filing. Sales rose 4.6 percent to 836.8 billion won.
