SEOUL, Hyundai Engineering and Construction Co. on Tuesday reported its fourth-quarter net profit of 110 billion won (US$82.4 million), swinging from a loss of 172 billion won a year earlier. Operating profit for the October-December period was 144.5 billion won, up 94.5 percent from a year ago, the company said in a regulatory filing. Revenue rose 41.3 percent to 8.59 trillion won. The earnings exceeded market expectations.
