Hyundai Glovis Q2 net income up 7.7 pct to 313 bln won

Hyundai Glovis Co. on Thursday reported its second-quarter net profit of 313 billion won (US$226 million), up 7.7 percent from a year earlier. The company said in a regulatory filing that it posted 439.3 billion won in operating profit for the quarter, compared with 412.6 billion won a year ago. Revenue rose 8.1 percent to 7.06 trillion won. The earnings beat market expectations.
