Hyundai Mobis Co. on Friday reported its first-quarter net income of 862.4 billion won (US$627.5 million), up 2.4 percent from a year earlier. The company said in a regulatory filing that operating profit for the January-March period rose 29.8 percent on-year to 542.7 billion won. Revenue decreased 5.4 percent to 13.86 trillion won. The earnings fell behind market expectations.
