Hyundai Rotem Co., a South Korean railway system and plant equipment maker, said Friday its U.S. unit has received a 241.4 billion-won (US$175.8 million) order for double-deckers in the United States. Hyundai Rotem USA Corp. has obtained the order from the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA), the company said in a regulatory filing. The company didn't provide the number of double-deckers and other details. In 2019, Hyundai Rotem signed a 330 billion-won deal to supply 80 double-deckers to MBTA, with the supply scheduled to be completed this year. Source: Yonhap News Agency
