Phnom Penh: Kampong Speu province will host the mountain bike (MTB) challenge 2025 in Kraing Ampel commune on June 21-22, featuring a new discipline "XCM Mountain Bike Marathon". The update was shared by Mr. Yoeun Phiyuth, Organiser of the Kampong Speu MTB Challenge 2025, adding that the XCM Mountain Bike Marathon, with a 43.5-kilometre distance, will take place on June 21.
According to Agence Kampuchea Presse, the "XCM Mountain Bike Marathon" is expected to gain traction among foreign tourists to join the sport, said Mr. Yoeun Phiyuth. As of now, about 30 foreign racers have registered for the new XCM Mountain Bike Marathon, he added, calling on Cambodian athletes to participate in the tournament.
The registration for the event is available through the "FLYING BIKES" Facebook Page, and the registration fee is US$20. The Kampong Speu MTB Challenge 2025 under the support of the Cambodian Cycling Federation, will be sponsored by FLYING BIKES and other private companies.
