KCC turns to black in Q1

KCC Corp. on Friday reported its first-quarter net income of 454.9 billion won (US$333.5 million), shifting from a loss of 15.5 billion won a year earlier. Operating profit for the January-March period was 106.9 billion won, up 41 percent from a year ago, the company said in a regulatory filing. Sales rose 1.5 percent to 1.58 trillion won.
