KEPCO Engineering and Construction Co. on Wednesday reported its second-quarter net profit of 16.8 billion won (US$12.2 million), up 44.1 percent from a year earlier. Operating income for the April-June period was 13.2 billion won, up 18 percent from a year ago, the company said in a regulatory filing. Sales rose 6 percent to 127.2 billion won.
