KG Dongbusteel Q2 net income down 32.8 pct to 37.9 bln won

KG Dongbusteel Co. on Thursday reported its second-quarter net profit of 37.9 billion won (US$27.4 million), down 32.8 percent from a year earlier. The company said in a regulatory filing that operating income for the April-June period fell 12.4 percent on-year to 74.5 billion won. Sales decreased 3.3 percent to 858.4 billion won.
