Yangon: Myanmar authorities seized 4,440 kg of ICE (methamphetamine), 1,100 kg of ketamine, four million stimulant tablets, and 14 kg of heroin powder in the Yangon region, as reported by state-owned Myanmar Radio and Television yesterday.
According to Nam News Network, the narcotics were confiscated, and a total of 16 suspects connected to the case were arrested between September 5 and 7 in Shwepyitha, North Okkalapa, and Thaketa townships in the Yangon region.
The report further detailed that the narcotics originated from Shan state and were intended to be trafficked to Malaysia.
