LG Display Co. on Thursday reported its first-quarter net loss of 761.3 billion won (US$553 million), remaining in the red compared with a year ago. The company said in a regulatory filing that it continued to post an operating loss of 469.4 billion won for the January-March period, compared with a loss of 1.09 trillion won a year earlier. Sales rose 19.1 percent to 5.25 trillion won.
